Victoria Real Estate Update - October 2014

Last October there was about 500 properties sold, this October 600.  Still a balanced market.  In fact it has been a solid year in the Victoria real estate market compared to the last two years and hoping next year will top this year.

The Multiple Listing Service® Home Price Index benchmark value for a single family home in the Victoria Core this time last year was $547,800. This month the benchmarkvalue increased to $553,900.  Below is chart to outline the areas within the Victoria Municipality; Burnside, Central Park, Downtown, Fairfield East, Fairfield West, Fernwood, Hillside, James Bay, Jubilee, Mayfair, Oaklands, and Rockland.
