Next National Garage Sale for Shelter is: Saturday May 15, 2010!
The non-profit Royal Le Page Shelter Foundations' mandate is to give women and children the choices and support needed to live safe, healthy lives, and reach their full potential, unhindered by violence.
Since the inception of the Shelter Foundation, the company has donated over $2.3 million to a variety of important charities working in different geographic areas and walks of life across Canada. This contribution has been supplemented by many individual acts of kindness from Royal Le Page offices and individual sales representatives.
Each and every one of the more the 600 Royal Le Page locations across Canada are encouraged to partner with a local women's shelter and offer much-needed financial support in addition to a variety of valuable goods and services. Locally, the Vancouver Island region offices have raised over $50,000.00
In 2009, our realtor's intend to raise even more money for the foundation. Numerous fundraising and donation plans are being considered, the most popular being the return of our annual golf tournament.
The fifth annual Coast Capital Royal Le Page charity golf tournament will be held at Cedar Hill Golf Course, and as always, benefits will go tot he Shelter Foundation. Past years' tournaments have seen droves of staff enjoying fun in the sun while raising thousands for local charitable groups. The most recent event raised over $16,000. for Island Charities.
For every real estate transaction I complete, I donate a portion of my earnings to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. For 2008 I was able to help in more ways because of my clients. Thank you.
