OAK BAY REAL ESTATE UPDATE AUGUST 2008
In Oak Bay, Year to date we had 141 detached home sales. Thirty four of those sales were priced from $1,000,000. - $2,000,000.
For the month of July we had 16 sales with the median price being $860,000.
Condominium Sales YTD reached 30 with 7 sales showing for the month of July. The highest sale was between $975,000 - $999,000. which was back in January of this year (happy to say that I was part of this sale) located on Oak Bay Avenue. There has been a NEW pre-sale in the month of August located at 1175 Beach Drive. I believe this is the new 'Oak Bay Beach Hotel' site. Listing price of $995,000 with 1045 sq.ft. one bedroom plus den that overlooks the courtyard of water features and landscaping ground.
Town homes in Oak Bay YTD showed up as ONE between the $575,000. - $599,999. price range.
